I’ve always believed Smith, was devastated when he was not allowed to proceed at the right time to avoid the second mess, and hope he is safe.

Like I’ve always believed Anita Hill – Thomas’ actions with no regard for propriety have proved he is scum of the worst kind – history will NOT be kind to this Supreme Court’s majority.

If there is any history after Trump. I think he is capable of starting World War III and ending civilization and maybe even our species. No one like him should be president of a country as powerful as the United States. If he killed more than half of our species in a day, he’d lose no sleep over it. He’d probably celebrate from his bunker and brag about it to whoever is trapped in same shelter with him. Probably his cabinet and secret service detail. When they ran low on food, they might eat Trump first to stay alive unless they are too dumb to realize that he’d eat them to survive another day.

From what I’ve read of Jack Smith, I think he’s a tough, no-nonsense guy and may be safer than many. Before he accepted the job as the US Special Council for Trump Investigations, he worked in the Hauge prosecuting war crimes. He still lives in the US but no one in the news media seems to know where he lives or what his next job will be. Maybe he’ll move back to the Hague, Netherlands in the EU. He is married and they have one child. His Wikipedia entry is impressive in a positive way. He’s taken on tough, dangerous prosecution jobs before this one.
