Be very Aware of ALEC’s Minions; Trumpist Lies and Propaganda

Freshman Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) spoke to an almost empty House of Representatives Wednesday in order to side with Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) to demand that Robert Mueller either resign or be fired. “We are at risk of a coup d’état in this country if we allow an unaccountable person with no oversight to undermine the duly-elected President of the United States,” Gaetz said. “And I would offer, that is precisely what is happening right now with the indisputable conflicts of interest that are present with Mr. Mueller and others at the Department of Justice.”

Where is the lie in that quote from Gaetz?

Mr. Mueller must go in front of a Grand Jury that will examine the accusations against persons charged with crimes and if the evidence warrants it, the grand jury will make formal charges on which the accused persons are later tried in court.

A Grand Jury plays an important role in the criminal process, but not one that involves a finding of guilt or punishment of a party. Instead, a prosecutor will work with a Grand Jury to decide whether to bring criminal charges or an indictment against a potential defendant — usually reserved for serious felonies.

Gaetz alleged that Mr. Mueller is unaccountable and has no oversight. That was a lie because a Grand Jury is the oversight to decide if the alleged criminal goes to court where that alleged criminal will be judged by a jury of his or her peers that are guided by a judge and the U.S. Constitution.

That Grand Jury and the justice system is the oversight. Mr. Mueller must prove guilt with evidence.  All Gaetz has is the Alt-Right lying, conspiracy theory generating media machine to support his allegations against Mr. Mueller.

And who is Robert Mueller?

Mueller was accepted for officer training in the United States Marine Corps in 1968, attending training at Parris Island, Officer Candidate School, Army Ranger School, and Army jump school.

In July 1968, he was sent to South Vietnam where he served as a rifle platoon commander with Second Platoon, H Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division; he eventually became aide-de-camp to 3rd Marine Division’s commanding general. In April 1969, he received an enemy gunshot wound in the thigh, recovered, and returned to lead his platoon until June 1969. For his service in and during the Vietnam War, his military decorations and awards include: the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V”, Purple Heart Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with Combat “V”, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three bronze stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Parachutist Badge.

He was the second-longest FBI director in history, only behind iconic and controversial director J. Edgar Hoover. Congress passed legislation in 2011 to extend Mueller’s term from the usual 10 years, giving him a 12-year tenure. Mueller, 72, oversaw the FBI from September 4, 2001, just days before the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, until September 4, 2013.

Mueller is widely seen as a nonpolitical, dogged investigator, respected on both sides of the aisle. The extension of his term passed the Senate 100-0, and he was also initially confirmed in 2001 unanimously, 98-0.

BDG Media reports, “As he (Muller) was considered for FBI director by the Bush administration, the Washington Post reported that he was a registered Republican. In the same report, though, it was noted that he is considered by most to be ‘apolitical,’ and that he had a history of pushing Democrats for temporary openings, even under a Republican president. … That could be why Democrats and Republicans have resoundingly supported his appointment as the special prosecutor.”

Who is Freshman Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL)?

He is an American attorney and politician who has been the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st congressional district since 2017. A Republican, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 4th District, which includes most of Okaloosa County, from 2010 to 2016. Gaetz was born in Hollywood, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University in 2003 and from The College of William and Mary in 2007 with a juris doctor.

In 2008, Gaetz was arrested for a DUI as he was driving back from the Swamp, a nightclub on Okaloosa Island, Florida, in a 2001 BMW SUV registered to his father. While he was arrested and refused to take a breathalyzer test, “he didn’t have his license suspended for a year when he refused the breath test — as Florida law dictates. And he didn’t have that refusal used against him in a criminal proceeding.” At the time of his arrest and consequent criminal proceedings, his father was serving as a local politician. The attorneys agreed to drop the case, despite the fact that the police reported that “Gaetz fumbled for his license and registration, his eyes were watery and bloodshot, and he swayed and staggered when he got out of the car,” and Gaetz cited the dropped charges as proof that he was innocent.

Matt Gaetz is also a Koch-Funded Congressman and he was behind the bill to abolish the Environmental Protection Agency.

Eco Watch reports, “The four GOP representatives have raked in campaign cash from some of the biggest corporations peddling fossil fuels, including Koch Industries, Duke Energy, Chevron and ExxonMobil. What’s more, an independent political spending group funded by an oil and gas company stepped in with ad buys to aid in Gaetz’s recent U.S. House race.”

Fake President Donald Trump’s 32-Percent and His Love Affair with Putin

James Kirchick writing for Brookings asks How the GOP became the Party of Putin.

In his Op-Ed, Kirchick points out that 32-percent of Republicans have a favorable view of Putin, who was a career KGB officer that still hates America.

Kirchick says, “Russia has been targeting the American right since at least 2013, the year Putin enacted a law targeting pro-gay rights organizing and delivered a state-of-the-nation address extolling Russia’s ‘traditional values’ and assailing the West’s “genderless and infertile” liberalism. That same year, a Kremlin-connected think tank released a report entitled, ‘Putin: World Conservativism’s New Leader.’”

That 32-percent represents #FakePresident Trump’s rabid fan base. These are the Americans who would stick with him even if he appeared in San Francisco, or New York, or Los Angeles, or Seattle with an AK-47 and roughed up and/or slaughtered dozens. #FakePresident Trump would just say the people he shot deserved to die because they were immigrants, liberals, or gay.

The 32-percent (identified as Republicans) is also where #FakePresident Trump and the Alt-Right Republican Party will recruit their brutal police-state army. Then it will be open season on anyone the Trumpists don’t like or who dares to speak out against them.

Now, how about actual numbers, not a ratio or percentage.  How many people are in that 32-percent that not only love #FakePresident Donald Trump but also approve of Putin, who hates the United States.

About 139 million Americans, or 60.2 percent of the voting-eligible population, cast a ballot in November’s (2016) elections, according to data compiled by the U.S. Elections Project.

“Overall, 48% of all registered voters identify as Democrats or lean Democratic compared with 44% who identify as Republican or lean toward the GOP.”

  • 48-percent of 139-million Americans that voted in 2016 = 66.72 million
  • 44-percent = 61.16 million
  • 32-percent of 61.16 million = 19.57 million.

Those almost 19.6 million Americans are #FakePresident Trump and Putin’s fan base.

According to the U.S. Census Population Clock, there are about 325.5 million people living in the United States.  That means #FakePresident Trump and Putin’s  supportive, rabid fans, the ones #FakePresident Trump and Putin pander to, represents 6-percent of the total population or about 7.8 percent of the adult population.

These are the Americans that will support an autocratic, totalitarian, racist, fascist, police state, and who are willing trash the U.S. Constitution so the rest of us lose our Constitutional protections and rights.

The 19.57-million people seduced by Putin are the Americans that will build the death camps and prisons for the rest of us. They are the extreme Alt-Right that will bow down to conservatism’s world leader, Putin, and his puppet, #FakePresident Trump.

This will only happen if we don’t stop them before it is too late.

To Make America Great Again, Trump must return the United States to the 1960s.

In 1900, 40-percent of Americans lived in poverty, 7-percent graduated from high school, and 3-percent from college. Women were chattel. That means they belonged to a man: father, husband, brother, etc. Children as young as seven could be sold into a form of slavery called servitude and in some states that included legal prostitution.  Even in states where prostitution was illegal, few ever did anything to save those children sold into that life by their poor parents.

How educated is the United States today? In 2014, 90.83-percent of Americans had a high school diploma or GED, and 44.08 percent had an associate and/or bachelor’s degree.

Since Trump doesn’t read, he doesn’t know this or doesn’t care, and that there is no time in American history that we were greater than we were in the 1960s.

If we look at the chart in this Atlantic piece, we discover America was greatest between 1960-1970, the Civil Rights Era; and when labor union membership was at its highest.

In fact, “Middle-Class Decline Mirrors The Fall of Unions In One Chart” we discover that the middle class was best off at the high point of union membership in 1967.

Now imagine if Trump was a reader and he was actually educated and knew all this and his make “America Great Again” was to return the U.S. to the 1960s, but without a war like the one in Vietnam.

That will never happen, because the malignant narcissist in the White House links his presidency to America Being Great Again. Nothing else counts to Donald Trump. He thinks that once he was elected and sworn in, the United States was Great Again.

The Latest Trump Twitter-Tantrum Alleges the Press Isn’t Covering Enough Terrorist Attacks

The world, except for Russia and North Korea, is concerned. The UK’s Independent reports, “More and more mental health experts are sharing their diagnoses to warn the public.”

The malignant narcissist President Littlefingers (this is the street name I gave him) Donald Trump’s latest Cry Wolf, the Sky is Falling, is that the media is ignoring attacks by Islamist militants in Europe. He acts like an infant in diapers crying for another piece of candy, another sip of soda, and when he doesn’t get what he wants, he gets angry and often Throws another Twitter Tantrum spewing more lies; more misinformation.

Foreign Policy Magazine said on February 7, 2017, the White House “released a list of 78 terrorist attacks it claimed were not widely reported. The list included the attacks in Paris, Nice, San Bernardino, Brussels, and Berlin that received massive, wall-to-wall coverage in print and broadcast media.”

The Daily Wire lists 101 of Trump’s Greatest Lies. “But there’s only one truly massive liar in this race: Donald Trump. When Politico attempted to measure how many lies Trump told over the course of 4.6 hours of speeches, they found that he lied, on average, once every five minutes. When Huffington Post catalogued his lies over the course of just one town hall event, they came up with 71 lies.”

And this is from the popular-vote losing President of the so-called free world. The biggest documented liar on the planet rants that the press is very dishonest.

Reuters, a European news service, reports, “Trump at one point cited attacks in the French cities of Paris and Nice, which were widely covered.”

During the election campaign, Littlefingers often claimed the election was rigged but if the won, it didn’t matter. The UK’s Daily Mail reported, He (Trump) joked about voter fraud and said it would be ‘okay’ for people to cheat because he might actually benefit.

During the election, the malignant narcissi said he wouldn’t lose his (deplorable, ignorant, racist, biased) supporters even if he shot someone dead in Times Square in front of thousands of witnesses.

When this tantrum-throwing toddler claimed the election was rigged, he was right.

There was widespread voter suppression of minorities in several Republican-dominated States. The Atlantic reported, “Trump’s ‘Voter Suppression Operation’ Targets Black Voters. Even as the Republican launches a purported African American outreach campaign 12-days before the election, his aides say their goal is to depress turnout in the bloc.”

The Republican Party helped. Think Progress reports, “Republicans were wildly successful at suppressing voters in 2016.”  … “Their systematic disenfranchisement was intentional and politically motivated. In the years leading up to 2016, Republican governors and state legislatures implemented new laws restricting when, where, and how people could vote — laws that disproportionately harmed studentsthe poor, and people of color. In several instances, lawmakers pushing such policies said explicitly that their goal was suppression of voters who favor the Democratic Party.”

Using the internet, an operation approved by Vladimir Putin, Russians tampered with the election by spreading gossip, rumors, and lies, to mislead as many American voters as possible. Reuters reports, “For Russia, U.S. election meddling claims strip Trump win of luster.” … “The belief, widely held in the West, that the Kremlin helped discredit Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by orchestrating embarrassing media leaks, has relegated U.S.-Russia relations to a post-Cold War low and stoked fears Russia will try to subvert French and German elections this year.”

In addition, the director of the FBI, a life-long conservative, released information on investigations of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails before those investigations were concluded. The FBI and police do not release information for ongoing investigations. This was a first. After it was too late, those investigations concluded there was nothing to take to court.

Media matters reports, “The recent FBI leaks about the bureau’s investigations surrounding Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton are “dangerous” for democracy and “unprecedented,” according to FBI historians and former agents who tell Media Matters that the leaks harm the FBI’s reputation and unfairly influence the presidential election.

Rewire says, “Our democracy is in danger. Within a day of taking office, President Donald Trump began spewing lies right and left on national television. He has threatened freedom of speech and of assembly by attacking both journalists and protesters. And he’s repeatedly and falsely claimed there was massive voter fraud in the national election, setting the stage for another round of voter restrictions. White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway calls the administration’s lies ‘alternative facts,’ but what we are really seeing is propaganda, conspiracy theories, and lies.”

The Republican Party holds the majority in both Houses of Congress and is doing little to nothing to safeguard the U.S. Constitution from its lying, con-man president who won an obviously rigged election that favored him.

Everything most of the people of United States want to believe in about their country is at risk. Everything!

Business Insider tells us the United States has 1,920 deployed nuclear warheads and another 5,380 warheads in storage ready to use. This malignant narcissist of a president always has his little fingers close to the button that launches those missiles.

The Scorpion and Frog Fable Updated

A poisonous, lying, cheating con-man, known as Little Fingers, and an angry unemployed worker  mad at China for taking his job, even though it wasn’t China, it was a robot that replaced him, meet on the bank of a raging river, and Little Fingers, desperate to get across is afraid of the swift current, but he won’t admit it.

Little Fingers asks the miserable, angry worker to carry him across on his back.

The worker asks, “How do I know you aren’t lying to me? Everyone says you’re a liar.”

“Trust me,” Little Fingers says, “They are the liars, because I’m smarter than them. I never fail. If I sting you and you die, I will die too, and on the other side of the river, a job is waiting for you, and I’m the only one that knows where that job is.”

The worker is satisfied because of the promise, and they set out, but close to the opposite bank of the raging river Little Fingers stings the worker.

The worker feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp “Why?”

Little Fingers says, “It’s my nature,” and before the worker goes under, he jumps the few feet to shore and walks away with a swagger not bothering to look back as the workers goes under and drowns.

If Little Fingers had not made it across, he was doomed, because he owed the Russians money and they were blackmailing him for perverted sexual behavior captured on film that would ruin his solid gold plated reputation.

Was Sun Tzu writing about the Deplorable Donald Trump and his Followers when he wrote the “Art of War”?

Sun Tzu wrote, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – written and published about 512 B.C.

Now it is time for us to learn who our enemy is so we can win this war.

I recently read a rant that alleged that half the country voted for Donald Trump, and those voters were the deplorables.  But the claim that half the country was deplorable is wrong unless we expand the definition of who those deplorables are beyond who just voted for Donald Trump.  Half is 109.5 million if we only look at eligible voters.

I also read “Essay: Fake news, faith and reason,” and it provided a good definition of exactly who those deplorables are, how they think, and/or their empty-headed lack of thinking.

Here’s what I think is deplorable.

As I write this post, we learn from US Election Atlas.org that Trump has 45.99 percent of the popular vote with 62,916,237 votes (that is not half). Hillary Clinton has 48.07 percent of the vote for 65,758,070, and it’s deplorable that she lost.

It’s deplorable that only 132.9 million Americans voted. There are almost 219 million eligible voters, and 86.1 million didn’t vote.

It’s deplorable that the @realDonaldTrump on Twitter has 17.2 million followers, but he only has 45 likes (when I checked today). How does anyone have that many followers and only 45 likes?

It also helps to define how deplorable Trump’s thinking is by just looking at the 40 Twitter pages he follows.  Click the link and discover how many times he follows himself and far-right hate media sites and/or talking heads.

It’s deplorable that according to the Pew Research Center, 33-percent of the people that voted for Trump did it because “He is not Clinton,” 27 percent voted for him because “He will bring change (does that mean burning the U.S. Constitution),” 26 percent voted because of “His policy positions (does he really have any),” 19 percent voted for him because “He tells it like it is/His personality (like his locker room talk),” and 10 percent voted for him because “He is for American people and values (Huh!).”

It’s deplorable that Trump claimed he’ll bring back manufacturing jobs that were lost to China, because how can Trump bring back jobs from China that never left?

Quickly, China doesn’t just trade with the United States. It trades with the world. The OEC reports China exported $2.37 trillion to the world in 2014, but only $432 billion of that went to the U.S, and the U.S. exported $134 billion in goods back to China, goods produced by American workers and/or automation in American factories. Discover what Forbes says China buys from the U.S. Automation took away 88 percent of the 7 million lost jobs in U.S. manufacture since 1979. Who became president in 1980?

So let’s discover how many deplorables there are.

First, the 16 – 17 million that follow Donald Trump on Twitter and on Facebook (probably the same people) on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst deplorables, this group earns a 9.

After we subtract the 16 – 17 million that follow Trump on Twitter and Facebook, that leaves about 47 million voters that earned an 8 on that scale of 1 to 10.  Arguably the ones that voted for Trump because he wasn’t Clinton should earn a 7, but Essay: Fake news, faith and reason explains why they should be ranked higher so maybe I’m wrong and that group should be a 9 too.

Who earned a 10 on the deplorable scale?  The 86.1 million that didn’t vote, and the answer is more than 68 percent of Americans eligible to vote are deplorable. More than 50 percent.

One thing we can look forward to from a Trump Presidency is all the new Star Wars films with him as the Emperor while he’s still the president of the U.S. I heard that Disney is already in negotiations with Donald Trump. If the deal goes through, he’ll be the first sitting United States President to star as an emperor in a series of films wearing pink cotton candy on his head instead of a crown or a hoodie.

Donald Trump is a Real Threat to the Survival of the Human Species

Alan Singer at the Huffington Post writes about the Trump Team Revives McCarthyism in War on the Environment.  Singer writes, “Climate change deniers argue that the Earth’s climate sensitivity is so low that humans can use the atmosphere as a garbage dump pumping out carbon dioxide without worrying about global warming. Donald Trump has called climate change a ‘hoax’ and tweeted that ‘global warming’ is a plot by the Chinese ‘to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.’”

Here’s what I have a problem with. I can’t understand why almost everyone from both sides of the climate change issue only focuses on climate change and/or global warming, and ignores all of the other damage caused by the products of the fossil fuel industry: coal, oil, gasoline, diesel, etc.

Let’s take a break from flogging the ignorant, deplorable climate change deniers like Donald Trump, and his deplorable supporters and focus on the other dangers caused by the fossil fuel industry that can’t be denied.

Carbon emissions are also toxic to human health and lifespans.  Without efforts to clean the air, this threat to our health will only increase.

A study from Stanford linked carbon dioxide emissions to increased deaths.

Acid rain, caused by fossil fuel emissions, kills life in lakes, rivers, the oceans, damages top soil, and cuts crop yields, etc.

The Policy Almanac reports, “Acid rain causes acidification of lakes and streams and contributes to damage of trees at high elevations (for example, red spruce trees above 2,000 feet) and many sensitive forest soils. In addition, acid rain accelerates the decay of building materials and paints, including irreplaceable buildings, statues, and sculptures that are part of our nation’s cultural heritage. Prior to falling to the earth, SO2 and NOx gases and their particulate matter derivatives, sulfates and nitrates, contribute to visibility degradation and harm public health.”

Then there is Carbon Monoxide poising. If you are the fossil fuel industry, Kremlin candidate like Donald Trump is, and you deny this danger, then I want you to sleep in your car with the engine running in a closed garage. Plan your funeral before you try that out.

The gains we learn about from this video is in danger from Donald Trump, and his deplorable followers

The CDC teaches us all about the symptoms of CO poisoning.

The most common symptoms of CO poisoning are headache, dizziness, weakness, upset stomach, vomiting, chest pain, and confusion. CO symptoms are often described as “flu-like.” If you breathe in a lot of CO it can make you pass out or kill you. People who are sleeping or drunk can die from CO poisoning before they have symptoms.

Who is at risk from CO poisoning?

Everyone is at risk for CO poisoning. Infants, the elderly, people with chronic heart disease, anemia, or breathing problems are more likely to get sick from CO. Each year, more than 400 Americans die from unintentional CO poisoning not linked to fires, more than 20,000 visit the emergency room, and more than 4,000 are hospitalized.

Then there is acidification of Earth’s oceans that are crucial to our health and survival as a species.

National Geographic teaches us that “For tens of millions of years, Earth’s oceans have maintained a relatively stable acidity level. It’s within this steady environment that the rich and varied web of life in today’s seas has arisen and flourished. But research shows that this ancient balance is being undone by a recent and rapid drop in surface pH that could have devastating global consequences.”

There is also another balancing act taking place inside of our bodies that’s even more sensitive and explains why the average lifespan in the United States has reversed.

Humans also have a pH balance just like the environment, and if the pH balances of the environment we live in changes, the pH balance inside our body is at risk. The results are rampant disease and significantly reduced lifespan.

If you don’t believe that our pH balance is important, explain why Living Near Freeways Hurts Kids’ lungs.

The Washington Post reports, “Children growing up alongside freeways risk having their lung development impaired, which can increase the likelihood of serious respiratory diseases later in life, researchers report.”

“Exposure from tailpipe emissions from motor vehicles potentially carries chronic health risks to children’s lung development,” said lead researcher W. James Gauderman, an assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. “We found that kids who live closer to freeways had significantly less lung capacity, compared with kids who lived further from freeways.”

And Donald Trump’s administration wants to get rid of the Environmental Protection Agency that protects all of us, not just the balance of the Earth’s environment that we all need to survive. Climate change/global warming is one thing but what about the survival of the human species and life as we know it that’s being ignored?  I have no doubts that if only the earth was warming up, some humans would survive somewhere on the planet but no humans will survive if the delicate balance that supports our existence is destroyed.

I don’t think most if any rich people live near freeways and since so many of the wealthy are narcissists and psychopaths, they have no empathy for the suffering of children and families that live near freeways.

Why did the fossil fuel industry focus only on climate change and ignore all the other dangers that their products pose to life on Earth?

The evidence is overwhelming that climate change denial was a tactic to get our minds off of all the other dangers the fossil fuel industry’s products cause to our health, the quality of life, and our very existence.

U.S. life expectancy declines for the first time since 1993.

Who stops Donald Trump will go down in the history books as a global hero or heroes?
