Beware of today’s Republican Party. It’s apparent that its rabid MAGA leaders want to take away many of OUR freedoms including the end of OUR public schools, freedom of speech and religion.
This post by Heather Cox Richardson aims to explain the bizarre transformation of the Republican Party. To those of us old enough to remember Republicans such as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Earl Warren, Howard Baker, George Romney, Nelson Rockefeller, and Jacob Javits, today’s GOP is incomprehensible. Long ago, the GOP was the party of fiscal conservatism.
