Jim Carrey’s Satire on Assault Weapons

After Jim Carrey appeared in a new video released by FunnyorDie.com as Charlton in a parody making fun of gun nuts, Fox’s News hosts went nuts too—about Jim Carrey—losing what’s left of their minds.

The Young Turk’s Cenk Uygur explains, with examples, what happened in all its hilarity.

In the video, Carrey is lip-synching backed by his merry band: Gandhi, Lincoln and John Lennon. Click on the next link for the performance.

Carrie makes it clear this is Social Satire.

And the neoconservatives at Fox News handed Jim Carrey billions in free PR by protesting too much.

  1. Hi there, I enjoyed reading your post, and I like to write a little comment to support you.

    1. I appreciate your support.

  2. I know this website provides quality dependent articles or reviews and other material, is there any other website which presents such things in quality?

  3. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues? A small number of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?

    1. Sorry, the only complaints I’ve heard is that sometimes a post will load slowly but that is usually not a problem with the Blog but a problem with an older computer or a slow connection that can’t handle the post’s file size. Something that a new computer with a faster chip and more RAM will usually solve.

Comments are welcome — pro or con. However, comments must focus on the topic of the post, be civil and avoid ad hominem attacks.
